We have developed compelling funding applications for local, central and devolved Authorities, and have secured over £100M of investment for our Clients. We fully understand Treasury “green-book” business case requirements and have successfully negotiated Grant Funding arrangements for digital and transport programmes.
Our robustness for commercial assurance, we have developed in-depth investment modelling techniques, undertaken cost-benefit analysis and determined investment returns for clients. While we do not provide financial investment advice, we can advise clients on value for money and assess financial aspects of tenders and competitive processes, undertaking benchmarking when necessary.
Instrumental in shaping commercial models for delivery in the telecoms sector, we have directly supported Combined and Local Authorities negotiate complex delivery contracts. These have included anchor tenancy models, open-access infrastructure, Dig-Once, commercial backhaul networks and cooperative models. We have produced business cases for the DCMS LFFN Programme and developed mature investment models that have been successfully used to secure Grant Funding. Where necessary, we have engaged Economists through our extensive associate network.
We can negotiate complex commercial arrangements on behalf of clients, including works, O&M and professional services contracts. We have managed in-life commercials, including cost management, funding profiling, forecasting, and managing change. Within this, we always advocate a holistic approach, which encompasses programmes.
During implementation and delivery, we support clients through payment processes, valuations, assessments and invoicing, providing a detailed earned value solution and empowering clients with the ability to monitor spend and progress to ensure funding obligations are satisfied.
Successfully settling final accounts, we have secured savings against contract out-turn forecasts through transparent and robust negotiations.
